TITLE: Store Loss Prevention Manager –
DEPARTMENT: Loss Prevention
REPORTS TO: Regional Loss Prevention Manager
Position Overview:
The Store Loss Prevention Manager is permanently assigned to a single store or two geographically close stores. Their primary responsibility is the protection of company assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist store management with the Daily Security Checklist
- Cashier register audits, 2 per day
- DSD vendor audits, in person or by using the camera system
- Shoplifting apprehension and reporting
- Supervise uniformed guard(s)
- Supervise store detectives assigned to LP Manager’s store(s)
- Perform periodic locker inspections
- Conduct bag checks throughout the day
- Review weekly cashier POS report (LPR018)
- Check Showcases and watch cases daily
- Assist store management with the application of EAS tags and anti-theft stickers
- Report any LP issues or problems to RLPM and DM
- Conduct LP audits and submit weekly reports to LP Department
- Daily store tours to collect empty packages
- Daily tour of non-selling areas for evidence of internal theft and grazing
