Prescriptions called in to a Duane Reade store may be routed to Central Fill where they are filled and sent back to the stores for dispensing.  This facility, which opened in 1999, was the industry’s first central fill facility and immediately positioned Duane Reade at the forefront of customer service by affording our Pharmacists more time to concentrate on their patients’ needs.
